Barn and stables. Late C17, barn roof structure C19. Red brick in English-bond with wide joints and lime mortar. Old red tile roofs. A three-sided courtyard of single-storey farm buildings. Taller barn forms east range with doors on both sides. Lower pitched roof stable ranges extend to west facing into the yard. Side-purlin roofs to stables. King-post roof to barn. North wall of north stable has decorative oval windows. Near site of church of Broadfield deserted medieval village.
