House. Early/mid C19 for village tailor, SW extension and house divided
c.1937. Red brick with white gault brick dressings to quoins and
openings. Hipped slate roof. A 2-storeys, 2-cells, end-chimneys house
set further back than neighbouring houses, facing E. Symmetrical E front
with chamfered plinth, painted brick band, wide painted eaves soffit, 3
windows to 1st floor and central entrance. Stucco cambered arches to
windows on both floors with sashes and 6/6 panes. Round arched doorway
with stucco arch, imposts and keyblock, 2-panels door, moulded radial
fanlight, and similar round head to window over. SW extension not of
special interest.
