- south-east of Llan Farmhouse

Barn. Late C17 with later alterations. Weatherboarded timber frame on
limestone rubble plinth, carried up to gable ends; slate roofs. 4-bay
range aligned north-south with slightly later 3-bay range projecting to
east, forming L-shape. 2 levels to main range. Doorways to far left
and left of centre with eaves hatches flanking threshing entrance in third
bay from left. 4 doorways to east range. Interior: main range has
jowled wall posts and single-purlin roof with raking struts from tie beams
to principal rafters. Loft to 2 left bays and to right bay. East range
has one rectangular panel above high plinth, which has triangular ventilation
holes to gable end and back wall (latter infilled). Single-purlin roof
with raking struts from tie beams to principal rafters. Included for
group value.
