Former fire engine house, now garages. Dated 1866. Local stone cut and squared with Doulting stone ashlar dressings;
stone slate roof behind stepped coping on West side, plain East gable with octagonal stone chimney stack on square
base, with moulded cap. Single-storey, 2 bays. Plinth, ashlar quoins; 2 just-pointed 2-centre arched doorways with
keyed ashlar surrounds in West gable; above and between them a plain stone plaque inscribed "1866 Engine House". It
was reached from the former playground of the National School (qv), now a car park.
