House, latterly four cottages, now divided into two. Early C17, extended mid C17 with later additions and alterations. Timber-framed with plaster and painted brick infill; oak shingle roof. Original plan of three framed bays extended to right in mid C17 by further two bays. One storey and attic.

Framing: square panels with short straight tension braces above girding beam to early C17 part and larger rectangular panels to mid C17 part, ground floor largely rebuilt in brick; collar and tie-beam truss with two vertical struts to right gable end. Irregular fenestration; late C19 and C20 casements alternating with boarded doors to left part (Brook End), which also has two raking eaves dormers with horizontal sliding sashes; Brookside Cottage has late C19 windows to left and right of late C20 lean-to brick porch and two horizontal sliding sashes to wide central raking eaves dormer. Brown brick ridge stack to right of centre, directly above infilled doorway and internal brick end stacks to left and right.

Interior: not inspected but likely to be of interest.
