Harrison memorial approximately 15m east of chancel of Church of St George

Pedestal tomb. Mid-C19. Cast iron. Square with moulded and chamfered
capping on stepped plinth, flaming torch finial to top and fluted columns
in recesses to corners. Inscription panel on south [fallen into tomb at
time of re-survey (1984)] commemorates Revd. Hamlet Harrison (died 1843),
rector of Pontesbury parish first portion and Strafford-le-Bow (Middlesex);
further inscriptions on north and west to various other members of the
family.
