C17. Tall T-shaped timber framed house with cross wing (No 72) now subdivided. Large internal chimney stack rising through rear slope of old red tile roof at junction with cross wing. Pantiled lean-to against west gable end. Gable weatherboarded above. North front weatherboarded at ground floor and plastered above. Ground floor of cross wing recently plastered and small tiled porch added. Two wide spaced small windows to each floor. Two-light flush wooden casements. Plank door off centre to east with drip board over on shaped brackets. One window central to each floor of cross wing below boxed verges to gable. Door next east corner. Oldest house of picturesque group on south side of road.
