House built 1861 of coursed squared limestone with quoins. First floor band and hoodmoulds to the first floor windows in the same style. Stone mullioned windows, ground floor also have transoms. Collyweston slate roof. The stone chimney stacks are placed to maximise the size of the rooms the fireplaces heated. Stone coped gables. Low garden wall here admits light to the north windows of the building. The ivy had been killed but is becoming a nuisance again. (Photo Jun 2014).
