House. Dated 1647, restored 1894. Coursed rubble stone with quoins and
stone dressings and Collyweston slate roof with 3 moulded stone ridge
stacks and similar right end stack. Right gable stone coped. Gabled cross
wing on left. 2½ storeys. On left gable a glazed door and a 2-light
casement both floors. Then, from left to right, a glazed door and a 2-light
casement both floors, a moulded Tudor arched doorway with glazed door,
stone tablet over and sundial above: a 3-light stone mullion with hood
mould and 3-light ½ dormer over; a glazed door, a 2-light stone mullion,
with 4-light over, and 2-light dormer. Inscribed on tablet: 'Aedificat
1647: Renovat 1894. On left end further casements and a stone tablet
inscribed' Labora et ora 1894'.
