Warehouse converted to house. C18, restored 1982 when road built between
it and seashore. Brick now rendered, old plain tile roof. 2 storey, 3
bays. Wide central doorway with double doors. Either side 3-light
casements in original openings. All ground floor openings cambered.
3-light windows on 1st floor. Roof hipped. Render and landscaping have
spoiled otherwise sensitive restoration. This warehouse originally stood
directly on waterfront before land reclamation and has landmark importance
in the village from Hythe pier. It is the only surviving building relating
to Hythe's waterborne trade.
