House. Probably late C17. Timber-framed with painted brick and plaster
infill, tiled roofs. Two-and-half bays aligned east/west, lobby-entry
on north side. Two storeys. Framing: small square panels, two from cill
to girding-beam and a further two from girding beam to wall-plate with
short tension braces to girding beam; narrower chimney bay; two collars
to end trusses with four and two struts, two pairs of purlins. North
elevation has irregular fenestration, C20 casements, one plus two on first
floor, five on ground floor (smaller ones outer and central). The principal
feature is a large rubble central stack with three conjoined diagonally-
set shafts.
