Two cottages, now one. C17, C18 rebuilding recorded on datestone
A
to front: C I / 1756. English garden wall bond brick on rubble
stone plinth, thatched roof with half-hip to left and brick stack
to right and centre. Two-storey, 3-window. Ledged door to left
and planked door to right, one single-light and two 2-light
casements. First floor has dentil brick band, single-light
casement to right, large eyebrow dormer to left with two small 2-
light casements and datestone. External chalk and brick stack with
offsets to right return. Rear wall is chalk rubble stone to left
and brick to right part, C20 door to left and two 3-light
casements to right, three 2-light first floor casements.
Interior has chamfered beams, restored open fireplace, some planked
or 4-panelled doors.
