Detached house. Early C17. Tile-hung brick front, tiled triple
gabled roof with grouped brick stacks. Two-storey and attic, 5-
window. Central 9-panelled studded door within 2-storey gabled
stone porch with semi-circular opening with keystone and imposts,
upper floor has 2-light ovolo-mullioned casement with hoodmould,
coped verge with ball finial, ground and first floor either side
has two plate glass sashes. Three full gabled attic dormers have
3-light ovolo-mullioned casements with hoodmoulds, coped verges
with ball finials. Left return is rendered, attached early C19
rear wing has 6-panelled door, one 20-pane and 16-pane sash to
ground floor and two 16-pane sashes to first floor. C19 slated
verandah to rear with 2-light casement and 9-pane sash to first
floor. Right return has blocked windows to C17 range, 2-light
ovolo-mullioned casement with hoodmould to attic, C19 rear range
has 2-light casements and 16-pane sashes and planked door.
Interior has large moulded stone Tudor-arched fireplace in room to
left of entrance, C17 wainscot panelling in room to right. C19
stairs to rear range. First floor has three ovolo-moulded
doorcases and 2-panelled doors to front, bolection-moulded
fireplace to south-west bedroom.
