railings to forecourt of
Manor House
GV II
Pair of gatepiers and attached walls, gates and railings. Late C17/early C18,
railings probably C19 or early C20. Limestone. Piers have panelled sides to
front and rear, moulded entablatures and ball finials on stepped bases.
Flanking low ashlar walls are topped by iron railings with arrow finials; top
rails sweep up to the abutments. Rubble wall with old plain-tile coping
returns on right to entrance front of house.
