A Grade II Listed Building in Radley, Oxfordshire

15th Century Vicarage, Radley

Uploader's Comments

Beautiful pre-Tudor cottage, first built in the 13th century with modifications in the 15th (including the oak front door) and 17th centuries. Apparently it was originally a hunting lodge used by the monks of Abingdon Abbey and famous guests have included Henry VII! Most o this information gleaned from 'Radley Church and Parish: A Brief History' published by the Radley History club and avilable in the village shop.
