6/144 Village Cross and War Memorial

Village cross, medieval. Tisbury stone. A high 3-course plinth
set on base step, absent on south-west side. Oolitic limestone
base, much worn, for medieval cross, now replaced with Great War
memorial cross in fine grained limestone.
