Formerly "The Abbey". C18 and C19 house in two buildings.
Main building is C18. Three storeys. Blue brick with red brick
dressings. Parapet. Band between storeys. Three windows, red brick
architraves, segmental arches to top floor, moulded wood flush frames,
double hung sashes with glazing bars.
On first floor, two three-light windows in segmental recesses flank
one segmental arched window. On ground floor two similar windows
flank a six panel door in panelled wood architrave beneath a glass
fanlight and noulded brick pediment. To right a matching later
extension.
Left hand wing of two storeys. C18 red and blue brick. Parapet and
cornice. Tile roof.
Three windows, band between storeys and cornice. Nine panel door in
architrave with pedimented brick hood with keystone, supported on
consoles. Left hand window has flat arch, double hung sash with
glazing bars. To the right a rectangular bay, brick plinth, double
sashes with glazing bars, wood bolection moulded frieze and cornice.
To tile left a one storey later addition, hipped slate roof. Double
hung sash windows with glazing bars in elliptical recess, red brick
architrave. One other window to left.
Two gables to garden elevation. Interior staircase and gallery with
alternate straight and spiral turned balusters. Panelled walls.
