House. Late C18 with later additions. Coursed, squared magnesian limestone,
Welsh slate roof. 2 storeys; 3 x 1-bay roadside front with 2 parallel ranges
to rear (the rearmost of later date). Plinth; 6-panel door to right of
centre has overlight with traceried glazing bars and wooden doorcase with
fluted jambs, impost and raised keystone to round arch under open pediment;
on right is a 1-storey canted-bay window with sashes of 8, 12 and 8 panes; on
left is a blocked window with flat arch. 1st floor: sash with glazing bars
over door has projecting stone sill and flat arch; blocked window on left;
16-pane sash on right in matching opening. Dentilled wooden cornice to
eaves; left end of roof is hipped, right end gable has truncated stack. Left
return: end of roadside range has a 2-storey bow window with projecting sills
to 16-pane sashes on each floor. C20 flat-roofed addition on left adjoining
recessed rear wing having round-headed stair window and eaves cornice as
front to hipped roof with ridge stack and stack at eaves on right.
