Pair of houses. Early C19. Deeply-coursed magnesian limestone, stone slate
roof. 2 storeys, 3:2 windows to 1st floor; lower wing to rear left. No 124
on right has central 6-panel door and overlight with crossed glazing bars in
wooden doorcase with architrave and pediment on consoles; flanking bays have
unequally-hung 20-pane sashes with projecting stone sills and flat arches;
two 16-pane sashes above have matching openings. No 126 on left is separated
by straight joint and is similar: doorway has overlight with radial glazing
bars; 16-pane sashes to each floor, narrower sash with glazing bars above
door. Both houses share a brick ridge stack and have brick end stacks. Left
return: wing to No 126 has paired 8-pane sashes on each floor and later porch
in angle on right; quoined straight joint with adjoining property on left
(not of special interest).
