Two dwellings at 90° forming a 'L'-shape. Dated 1678 but altered in
the late C18 or early C19. Hammer dressed stone. Quoins. Stone
slate roof with hollow chamfered gable copings on moulded kneelers.
Two storeys. The main elevation to No. 51 retains double chamfered
windows though most mullions have been removed. To 1st floor: two
3-light windows. To ground floor: one 3-light and one 4-light window,
with adjoining square-cut 2-light window. To right is small, blocked
fire window. The right gable of this part has dated fire window 1678

and a later entrance on its right side. The front to No. 53 has late
C18 or early C19 openings: Central doorway with one 3-light window to
left and right, both floors, all mullions removed. Later lean-to
extension to right.
