4/207 Lambert, Foyle and two unidentified
monuments in the churchyard, between
8 and 20m north of north transept of
Church of St. John the Baptist

GV II

Four chest tombs. Mid C17, early C18, and early C19. Limestone.
Unidentified early C18 tomb has 2 recessed panels and corner
pilasters to main sides, moulded flat top. Mary Lambert died
1829; tomb with plinth, plain side panels and chamfered flat top.
Two C17 tombs to north includes Foyle tomb with fine lettering to
side panels, cavetto and roll-moulded flat top, partly sunk at
survey (January 1986). Unidentified C17 tomb has plain panels,
heavy chamfered top and illegible inscriptions.
