Formerly listed as Boundary Stone in Eastern Parapet of Junction with Turbury Lane.

Boundary stone. Late C18 - early C19. Stone post rectangular, built into parapet
with only the front face now visible. This carries the weathered inscription:

"(Mid) ? Stone of/Norland/and/Elland";
with later benchmark below.

Marks the boundaries between the parishes of Sowerby Bridge and Elland.
