3/127 Former Railway bridge at NGR
SO 545135

Former Railway bridge over road to Staunton on dismantled line
between Coleford and Monmouth. Mid C19. Rock face rubble stone,
squared and brought to courses, with skewed brick tunnel vault.
Four courses of sloping brick headers as decoration at each end of
vault. Very large abutments on both sides to north and south also
in rock face squared rubble stone. This is a good example of a
skew bridge and is in good condition with no patching.
