- and Mariners Cottage
GV II
Dwellings in row. Mid C19. Brick, two storeys and attic, 2+1+1 windowed,
sashes with glazing bars to Tremains and Mariners Cottage, without bars to
The Wee House; two small C19 dormers to Tremains and one new dormer with metal
casements to each of other dwellings; 6-panel door incorporated with 15-panel
C19 shop front, left; three other doors, to left of window ranges in each cot-
tage, 6-panel flush to Tremains, new glazed to The Wee House, and 6-panel
including four glazed to Mariners Cottage. This was probably four dwellings
as built, and remains an important element in group value in the street; the
two outer units are still mainly unaltered.
