Detached dwelling. Late C18 with C19 and C20 modifications. Rendered and, ashlared
V-joint alternating quoins, and V-joint pilaster strips to central bay, modillion
eaves cornice to half-hipped Welsh slate roof, 2 brick stacks. A symmetrical front
with parallel range and with low wing returning to road, right. Front is 3 storeys,
3-windowed, all 12-pane sashes with alternating jamb stones and voussoirs, and to
stone cills, but in centre bay the first and second floor lights to arched heads
and with Gothick tracery, the upper one with ogee interlace. Central 6-panel door
with elliptical Y-tracery fanlight, in pilaster strips and with deep pedimented
hood on brackets. The back is principally a C20 extension or rebuild with steel
sash, includes 2 storey double bay and verandah. Stands well above road level and
prominent to passing traffic.
