17th century, probably with earlier work, and with alterations. 2 storeys.
4 windows, at lst floor, with flush frames and-glazing bars. Steep roof,
with pantiles. Rendered and painted. Early 19th century canted double
bow shop front with dentil cornice continuing across central entrance, now
with vertical glazing bars only. Remains of overhanging lst floor visible
on left side of shop front and over passageway.

Newmarket forms a most important central group including the buildings
around and in the "island".
