18th century with alterations. 2 storeys. Red brick. Pantiles. 2 windows,
sash, horizontal glazing bars staggered. Ground floor windows with flat arches.
Central 6-panel door in wood case with panelled reveals and reeded pilasters.
Cellar. Group value.

All 4 sides of the Old Market contribute in varying degrees to its general
character. The Old Market is in an important position near the centre of
the town. Nos 9 to 17 (odd) form a group with No 2 Northgate.
