Milestone. Probably mid C18. Limestone with cast-iron plate.
Stone c0.5m high with rectangular plate with relief
inscription CIRENR 1 GLOSTER 16. Route originally turnpiked
1747; transferred to Cirencester Turnpike Trust 1825; stone
marked on OS 1st edition Preliminary Drawing map 1816.
