Town house. Late C16 or C17 with C19 refronting. Stucco with internal timber-frame; tile roof continuous with that to Nos 47 & 48 (qv) with brick rear stack. 2-unit plan. 2 storeys; 2-window range. Central entrance has architrave and cornice to 6-flush-panel door (2 glazed). Ground floor has window to left with 4-light casement; C19 canted bay window to right has frieze and cornice, and 2:4:2-pane sashes; 1st floor has windows with 2-light ?C18 casements, part small-paned. Left half has slight jetty to 1st floor. Rear gabled wing. INTERIOR noted as having some exposed timber-framing and beams.
