This colour image is from https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tiddington,_Warwickshire and is surely the cottage you describe at this site.
Also in my contact with Robert Pitt I have found photo PH350_225 which is a B&W image of the same building from around 1900.
My real interest is to know whether Sir Robert Hamilton owned all or part of this building between 1863 and 1888. I would love to get your reply to this quest.
