Terrace of 5 houses, mid C18. Red Flemish-bond brickwork with
gabled clay plain tile roof. 2 storeys and attic.
EXTERIOR: moulded painted timber cornice and raised brick band
between storeys. Each house has a gabled dormer with a 2-light
casement. On the first floor, a square flush double-hung sash
window with 2 vertical glazing bars. On the ground floor a
flush double-hung sash window with small panes and arched
rubbed brick head. also a door opening with similar brick
arch, quadrant moulded architrave and blank brick panel over
(rendered on No.11A). Doors are of 6 raised-and-fielded panels
(No.9 top panels glazed, No.11A bottom panels replaced). The
rear of each unit has a gabled roof at right angles with a C20
roof terrace behind solid parapet. No.11A has larger 2-storey
rear extension with gabled clay plain tile roof.
INTERIOR: spine beams are exposed in some units and cross
walls are of timber-framing.
