Farmhouse. Mid-C18 with mid-C19 alterations and additions. Red brick;
tiled roof on dentilled eaves cornice; stack on right of centre of
front and to sides and rear. Assymetrical frontage in two parts, all
two storeys and attic. The right hand part has a hipped dormer to
the right over a frontage of two windows but the equivalent length
of four, the two segmental headed, transomed casements are set to the
left side; one window to the left of ground floor with lean-to addition
to right; entrance to left of centre with segmental head under a pent
porch. Gable set back to left with a single range of windows; blind
attic window over a casement similar to those in right range; hipped
3-sided bay with glazing bar sashes on ground floor. Interior: the
entrance leads into a through passage possibly relating to the plan
of an earlier house.
