No. 2 Manor Cottages
(formerly listed as part of The Cottages)


Cottage. Dated 1654, mostly rebuilt early C18.Red brick and Welsh slate roof
with brick right end stack. Brick band. 2 storeys of 2 2-light casements.
Central wooden doorcase with entablature and 6-panelled door. Left end
adjoins Cottage formerly occupied by the late Mr Busby Snr (g.v.). Said to be
a beam inscribed 'W.A. 1654' inside. V.C.H., Vol. V.
