Early C19 pair each 2 storeys and basement, 1 window in wide main block with blank
window panels in centre; and 2 storey, 1 window set back entrance extensions.
Stock brick. Low pitched hipped slated roof, with deep eaves soffit, over centre
block; parapets at, sides. Gauged brick window arches, flat in centre block and
segmental at sides. No 32 has later C19 half glazed door and 3 light casement
inserted at right, No 34 has had left wing pebbledashed and a long casement inserted.
Other windows sashes with glazing bars in stucco-lined reveals. Louvre shutters
added to centre part of No 34. Bronze plaque : PATRICK MACDOWALL R.A. 1799-1870,
eminent sculptor, lived here for many years. c20 rear extensions.
