Cottage. Dated 1665, raised and altered late C19. Coursed ironstone rubble,
slate roof, brick end stacks. 2-unit lobby-entry plan. 2-storey, 2-window range.
Plank door to right with wood lintel and moulded wood surround approached by 2
brick steps. 3-light casement window to ground floor, that to left with
stop-chamfered wood lintel, that to right replacing mullions but retaining
chamfered stone surround and hood mould. 3-light casements to first floor, both
with wood lintels. Datestone to first floor centre inscribed 1665/RB/B. 2-light
ovolo-moulded stone mullion window in left gable. Interior has chamfered spine
beam and open fireplace with cambered chamfered bressumer.
