House, now offices. Circa 1800 refronting on C16 rear. Timber framed, refronted
in colourwashed brick, rendered on the ground floor, and with plain tiled roof
obscured by parapet. Two storeys and attics over basement storey to rear where
ground drops away. Ribbed C17 stack to right. Rusticated ground floor under
cornice band with eaves cornice above to base of parapet. Three bays wide; three
6-pane glazing-bar sash windows in attic storey under gauged-brick heads, now
painted over. Three 12-pane glazing-bar sash windows to the first floor with
similar heads. Central 12-pane glazing-bar sash window to ground floor in a
chamfered surround. 6-panel doors to ends in panelled reveals and with moulded
projecting surrounds.
Interior:- Barley-sugar twist balusters to staircase in left end; some panelling
in ground floor rooms. Formerly known as Norfolk House.
