House, now office. C16 to rear with C17 front range, C18 rebuild to rear and C20
restoration. Timber framed, exposed to rear with whitewashed brick infilling;
colourwashed render cladding to front on plinth, with stone-coped parapet partly
obscuring plain-tiled roof. L-shaped plan comprising two-bay range to front,
parallel with the street, two-bay range at right angles and lower, older two-bay
range to rear. Entrance front:- End stack to left. Two storeys with paired 12-
pane glazing-bar sash windows on each floor to left, one 16-pane glazing-bar sash
window on each floor to right of centre. Door of six fielded panels to right of
centre. Rear: two-bay range with arched bracing on the first floor, tile hung
flat-roofed dormer to left. Joist ends exposed over ground floor to left. Arched
"Gothick" style casement fenestration alternating with square windows on the ground
floor. Lower range to right with hipped and gablet roof to right end. End rebuilt
in C18 re-using old timber, arched bracing on end and jowled angle post. One
"Gothick" window to left and square window to right. Rear end over looking
Millbrook:- C18 canted window with glazing-bar sash fenestration and moulded
surrounds. Weatherboard pentice to right.
Interior:- Purlin roof on front range with diagonal wind-bracing. Purlin and
collar beam roof to rear range, Queen-post roof exposed on gable end.
