House, now club. Late C18. Deep brown brick on rendered plinth to main range,
whitewashed stucco to left. Plain tiled mansard roofs, end-on parallel ranges
over main range, with lower renewed roof set back to left. Two storeys with
attics partially obscured by stone-coped parapets. Double-pile range to right
with end stacks and brick dentilled cornice to eaves. 2 flat-roofed sash
dormers, one to each roof, with three tripartite glazing-bar sash windows under
gauged-brick heads across the first floor. Two ground floor tripartite sashes,
that to left with stained glass in lower lights, the upper halves of both windows
without glazing-bars; under gauged-brick heads and flanking central double doors.
Doors panelled and half-glazed set in panelled and glazed surround with panelled
reveals and traceried fanlight under depressed oval arch. Pilaster surround
supporting moulded hood over. Two-window range to left with plat band over ground
floor and hip-roofed casement dormer. Two first floor 12-pane glazing-bar sash
windows and half-glazed door in half-glazed surround to left. Round-arched double
doors to right leading to cobbled throughway down steps giving access to lower
level to rear. Rear - rendered canted bay oriel with tripartite front sash to
first floor on iron columns. Two doors to centre with flat hoods over.
