The original farmhouse at Langton Farm was in all probability the stone-built cottage backing on to the farmyard and dating from 1668. It is now known as 1 Langton Place. Langton Farmhouse (which is effectively next door) dates from approximately 100 years later. The farm had clearly been profitable!
