Barn. Dated 1741. Rubble sandstone, pantile roof. 2 internal storeys, 5
internal bays. Quoins. Central leaved board doors in segmental-arched opening
with pecked voussoirs and inscription "AD 1741" on keystone. Triangular-ended
slit vents in 2 tiers flanking door, 5 on lower level, 4 above. Above them,
5 oculi in dressed stone surrounds. Tall hipped roof. Rear: lower segmental-
arched opening in centre. Interior: doors are original, and one is inscribed on
rail "CC 1742". Square-section chamfered tie-beams are notched for floor joists
throughout. King-post roof trusses apparently a later alteration.
