Entrance gate and walls. Circa 1545. Red brick with brick on edge coping, rendered
coping to rear walls. Main entrance wall, to rear of rectangular site. Entrance wall
approximately 10 feet high, buttressed every 12 feet with 4-centred arched gateway
apporximately 90 feet from the left end, now blocked. 4-step surround with stepped
parapet above. Further smaller gateway also blocked, 20 feet to right, c15 feet high.
Rear walls (facing street) 10 feet high to ends, central section only 3 feet high.
4 entrances now knocked through.
