A Grade II Listed Building in Sywell, North Northamptonshire

Sywell village hall, Sywell, Northamptonshire

Uploader's Comments

This beautiful building was once the village school, and dates from 1864 when the local landowner, Lady Overstone, had it built together with the Master's house. At the same time a number of cottages were built in the village at her expense. The school relocated and the building was taken over by the community and converted to a village hall in the 1980s.
