Wall, piers and gates. C18 wall and pier; mid C19 gatepiers and gates. Marlstone and limestone ashlar. Marlstone wall, approximately 1.8metres high, has a flat coping, sweeping up at the southern end to a contemporary square pier with plinth, moulded cap and chamfered rustication. At north end are two large C19 rusticated limestone piers, with elaborate carved finials, enclosing a pair of wrought-iron gates. Short length of wall to north is probably C19 and includes a gateway with a shouldered arch. Gates form the main entrance to Sandford Park.
