House. Possibly late medieval, remodelled C17. Rendered timber framing; old
plain-tile roof with brick stacks. 3-unit plan. One storey plus attics.
Irregular front has 2 entrances, C20 bow windows, to left and centre, and a
2-light casement to right; gabled dormers, to centre and right, plus a small
roof dormer to left. Roof, which steps up twice to right, has stacks to left of
centre and to both ends. Interior: Remains of a braced base cruck; large
inglenook fireplace; winder stair; chamfered beam with decorative stops. Said to
have smoke blackening in roof. Floors and stack may have been inserted into a
2-bay open hall.
