1866 by Edward l'Anson. Portland stone corner building in mannered classical style. Four storeys plus battered basement. Front seven windows; return five windows. Entrance at basement/ground floor level with pilasters and large brackets supporting balcony above. Broad pilasters to upper storeys with round-arched and balustraded first floor windows and three balconies to centre of second floor. Modillion, crowning cornice. Plain rear of yellow brick and stone.
