Terrace of 4 houses probably always incorporating the corner
shop in No.32. Nos 34 and 35 c1825, but Nos 32 and 33 not
completed until c1840. Red brick with a brown brick facade.
Mainly slate roofs. Nos 24 and 35 are 3-storey, 2-bay houses.
Panelled doors placed together in centre under curvilinear
fanlights. Panelled reveals, but pedimented hoods now gone.
Original sashes to No.34, with glazing bars and gauged
skewback arches. No.35 has late C19 plate-glass sashes and a
canted bay to ground floor of similar date. Parapet.
Individual hipped roofs with slate cladding to No.35, concrete
tiles to No.34. One stack each on rear roof slope. Nos 32 and
33 are three-storey, three-bay houses with a late C19
double-fronted shopfront to No.32. No.33 has a panelled door
under a round arch and a plain fanlight. Panelled reveals.
Sashes with glazing bars and gauged skewback arches to No.32,
that to the first-floor left late C20. Sashes of No.33 are
late C19 except for the late C20 second-floor casements.
Stucco string course at first floor with palmette and tulip
decoration. Parapet and low hipped slate roof. Large stack at
division of properties.
