Pair of houses. c1825; shown on 1830 map. Red brick with brown brick facade and slate roof. 3 storeys and basement, each house of 2 bays separated by a blind window bay to each floor. Basement with one sash window with glazing bars and a gauged skewback arch. Steps rise to main doors at extremes of elevation with wrought-iron balustrade. Stick balusters and ramped and wreathed handrail. Doors are panelled, are set within panelled reveals and have plain fanlights. Formerly with pedimented hoods. Fenestration of sashes, all with glazing bars and gauged skewback arches, and all mid C19 replacements except those to the ground and first floor of No.24. Hipped roof with a large central stack.
