Semi-detached villas. c. 1845. Yellow and brown stock bricks
set in Flemish bond with stucco ground-floor and dressings;
Welsh-slate hipped roof with projecting eaves, and centre
stacks. Side-hall entrance plan with staircase. Two storeys,
basement and attic; 2 windows each, including narrower
1-window recessed entrance bay. Rusticated stucco ground
floor. Steps rise to prostyle Ionic portico in outer bay:
doorway with pilaster jambs carrying corniced-head, original
2-panelled door and rectangular overlight. Ground-floor 4/4
sashes with margin lights and cast-iron window guards in
Rococo style. Stucco first floor storey band with recessed
panels; 2-storey full-height stucco pilasters to upper floor
articulates inner bay. Architraved sashes to upper floor;
first floor 4/4 sashes with margin lights to inner bay and 6/6
sashes to entrance bay; all with rosetted, console-bracketed
cornice. 4/4 sashes with margin lights and 2/2 sashes to
attic. Moulded stucco freize/cornice. Attached railings.
