Terraced houses. Early C19. Yellow brick set in Flemish bond,
stucco, roof obscured by parapet. Three storeys over basement,
two windows each. Basement and ground floor stuccoed with
banded rustication. Round-arched entrances with fluted
quarter-columns, cornice and fanlight, with original glazing
to all but nos 47 and 57, and panelled doors of original
design to all but no 47. All windows flat-arched, those to
first floor having piano nobile proportions; first- and
second-floor windows with gauged brick heads. Balconies to
first-floor windows with iron railings with anthemion
decoration. Sashes of original design to nos 43, 45, 49 and 5l
(ground and second floors), 53 (ground and first floors).
Cast-iron railings to area.
