Terrace of semi-detached linked villas. Probably 1840s. Stock
bricks laid in Flemish bond with stucco dressings; artificial
and Welsh-slate flat and gabled roofs with party-wall stacks.
Side-hall entrance plan with staircase. Two storeys, basement
and attic; 3 windows each, windows over entrance narrower.
Steps rise to linked entrance bay set in recess with
projecting stucco porch composed of common centre square
column, continuous entablature and flat roof. Doorway with
4-panelled door (no. 47 C20), side-lights and rectangular
3-paned overlight. Gauged-brick flat arches to 6/6 architraved
sashes, all but 1st floor entrance-bay having sashes with
margin lights. 1st storey stucco cornice to entrance bay;
stucco pediment to attic storey. All but nos. 57, 61 and 63
with sashes that cut across entablature and encroach into
typanum of each pediment.
